Whenever I open a book or watch a movie, chances are it's set in Scotland or the UK. I love historical dramas set against the backdrop of the UK's rich history. The unique scenery there feels like something out of a dream and the castles, standing there as silent witnesses to the past. Stories of clans, battles, and traditions make the place feel alive and special. 

Now, let´s talk real estate. For years, I've been looking at real estate in Florida, hoping to find the perfect investment opportunity. But recently, my sights have shifted across the Atlantic to Scotland. Scotland has even made its way into my financial fantasies.

I spend time scrolling through online listings, picturing myself there. Whether it's a cozy countryside cottage or an unique and stylish apartment in Edinburgh, the thought of being a part of Scotland's beauty is exciting. When looking at prices, I always calculate the mortage online right away, it makes everything so much simpler. 

Also, The Times recently reported that house prices have dropped at the fastest rate in five years. Mortgage rates going up has a lot to do with it, but prices are still 20% higher than they were four years ago, before the pandemic hit. It shows that real estate can be affected by all sorts of factors, but it can also be a smart long-term investment.
